Hello 'Hounds,

I'm looking for suggestions to go get post-dinner drinks tonight in Culver City. The restrictions are: we'd like a grown-up place that's not too loud (not the Mandrake then), not over-the-top ridiculous (Royal T is out) and because I have a really painful back injury, a place that has tables and chairs with high backs. Bonus if they serve a nice selection of wine by the glass, in addition to good cocktails.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hmm. Somewhat at a loss - Friday night Culver City bar scene is 25 year old Sony employees. Best bet is probably hope to snag a seat at the bar at Fraiche or if not try the lounge at the Culver Hotel (not sure on wine selection though). Bottlerock may not be too loud (though no cocktails I think).

I know, it's hard. Never been to Bottlerock, I'll suggest it to my friends. Last time I ended up at the Culver Hotel bar on a weekend they had a live band that played really too loud.

Bigfoot Lounge west on Venice, or Saints and Sinners right next door. Both hip spots, but they can get a little loud on the weekends. Also check out Alibi Room on Washington. They serve Kogi food to boot!

The Culver Hotel's Lobby Lounge/Bar has been low-key on a couple of visits this past year.

"The Lobby Bar offers a signature cocktail menu, single malt scotches and an eclectic wine selection. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long day or celebrate a special occasion with friends. Open every day from 3:00pm-Close."
