Thinking of having a small wedding in a DC restaurant next year.

I am looking for recommendations for a nice restaurant with a private room. Most likely the wedding will have 15 - 25 guests. Price range for food - anywhere from $35 - $60 per person.

Some places i have checked out on the internet: Nora's, Proof, Brasserie Beck, Centrale Michel Richard. Any thoughts on these or other palces??

In theory below is what I have planned in my mind. Is this feasible/good plan??????

Guests gather short time and have small selection of passed canapes and drink (limited to wine/non-alcohlic drinks)

Short ceremony to take place in the same room (assuming there is some open space available in the room0 or perhaps anotehr small room if there is one)

Sit-down lunch or (more likely) dinner. For this small size, is it better to have assigned seating or jsut open seating...thinking maybe 3/4 tables of 6.

Thanks!!

If you are willing to go outside the district a little bit 2941 is really beautiful and would be lovely, they have private rooms with really nice views. I know what the prices were a few years ago, but not now, but it didn't seem too outrageous to me.

You might also check out the Tabard Inn.

And Zola, their private room is a pretty good size.

I have only seen the private room at Brasserie Beck, it is ok a decent size so you might be able to arrange it some different ways to accommodate what you want.
