4 people. 3 adventurous, one not

choices:

Erbaluce
Lala Rokh (non adventurous is Arab)
Petit Robert - Kenmore
Rendezvous

which would you choose. I'm conflicted. Erbaluce is an open table reservation at 6:30 which makes me feel old, but for a good food experience I'm willing to feel old. Never been to Lala Rokh or Petit Robert and just plain love Rendezvous.

All of your thoughts, comments and suggestions for other venues welcome.

Thank you

K, having been to the last 3 more than once(they were ok, w/edge to Rendez), I'd definitely pick Erbaluce, Rendezvous after that.

I would absolutely put erbaluce at the top of that list. It's on a different level than the other 3 IMHO.

lala rokh is persian. they do not consider themselves arabs.

i'd put erbaluce at the top of the list too. take a stroll over to post 390 or the bristol after dinner and have a nightcap. old people wouldn't do that. ;)

Fourth erbaluce. Fabulous place! If you like mussels they do an excellent rendition as an app; I also had great fresh grilled sardines there last time I was in. And the pansotti is wonderful (well, everything I've had there is wonderful, really).

Thanks everyone. The flu has struck and taken down one of our party. I was able to get a table at Erbaluce at 8 and that would have been the choice (emailed restaurant directly vs. the choices opentable had given me). It will have to wait until next time and thanks again.
