Tommy's Joynt's atmosphere is sort of bar crossed with cafeteria.

If I were going to spend Thanksgiving in a bar, I'd go to Vesuvio's. They have a free buffet, or did a couple of years ago when we wandered in after TG at Schroeder's, seemed like sort of a potluck. Fun and friendly.
