Daniel George - Birmingham

After having a fantastic Bridesmaid Luncheon at Veranda - they really outdid themselves, I'm looking for another venue for a December Bridesmaid Luncheon.

Daniel George seems reasonably priced...$30 for a 3 course menu, but could do $25 for 2 courses.

I've never been to the restaurant, so if you could shrare your general take on the food and atmosphere, I would appreciate it? Since they're not open during the day, we'd have the entire bar and restaurant to ourselves.

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you!

I agree. They have consistently done a top-notch job for a long time. Nice location, too.

Thirded, although I have not tried a lot of their dishes. Love their foie gras and the atomic dog - quite opposite ends of the chowhound continuum. I have tried a few more but it has been a while. The menu looks great and I can't wait to get back to try the prix fixe and the rabbit

          2. What city?

Birmingham. Or, more accurately, the south suburb of Mountain Brook, in Mountain Brook Villiage.
