Great Food in Desert Hot Springs

This place is right down the road from Two Bunch Palms. After several disappointing meals at random hole in the wall places El Huichol hit it out of the park. The Lengua was perfectly done and the chicken soup had a delicious broth, cooked perfectly. The real treat is that we happened in on a Saturday when they serve Birria ( available Saturdays and Sundays) it was rich and flavorful. The place is very casual, no frills but great authentic food. The two women serving us made us hot handmade tortillas and kept them coming and the salsa was fantastic.
