The best place I found was Cycyleway Coffee. Its hidden in a residential part of what I consider Highland Park (when I asked the bartista said its called Hermon.) Anyway, they had really good service. The latin latte (the house specialty) was off the wall good. They make it with real grated mexican chocolate and horchata. Appearantly they came up with this recipe a few years ago and its been part of their specialty ever since. I ordered a blueberry scone that was really good and went well with my latte. I noticed they had salads and pastas too, so now they might end up keeping me there longer. It was a really cozy place with free wi-fi (Down with these corporate chains that charge!!!) Anyway, I got to hang out on a couch, drink my latte and get a lot of work done. End result: Definitely a place to check out and get some work done. Or just wind down. We had the best ever Cafe Mocha at Porto's in Glendale, and they have TDF sandwiches and yummy baked goods.
