Has anyone been to the new restaurant in Cleveland Park called Acacia Bistro (corner of Connecticut and Yuma at the site of the old Schlotzky's Deli)? I went just after Siestma's decent review last week and was fairly impressed. The food choices were interesting, quasi mediterranean with an italian accent and they have a nice beer and wine selection. One slight glitch on my visit was receiving cold mash potatoes with my chicken dish; I mentioned it to the waiter and after a bit of a wait they brought me another dish of potatoes. They were still cold but at least they tried. Owner came by to thank us for visiting and said they were busier than they expected (guess they did not realize Siestma's influence), so maybe that accounted for the cold potatoes. Nonetheless, a nice addition to the neighborhood and will give them another visit.
