I went to get a carwash today on 4th and Western and discovered a cute little yogurt shop called IceBerry. This place is great if you're in the mood to get a quick bite to eat. They sell rolls (kimbap) for $2! They have four fillings to choose from: korean bbq, chicken terriyaki, sauteed mushroom, and spicy pork. The spicy pork is YUMMY!

Oooh ... I might have to track this down. I always loved eating kimbap at Korean friends' houses growing up. I once asked why I never saw it in restaurants or stores, and was told with a laugh "that would be like selling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches". I suppose it's a sign of the times that you can buy pb&j sandwiches these days at Whole Foods. :)

For what it's worth, I regularly ate freshly made to-go kimbap when I traveled through Korea. It's a great snack/light meal to carry you over on long bus rides.

Yeah NAMSTER your right!! haha maybe quality is not staying close to a koreatown. Iceberry I love their FROYO soo creamy and cheap! but not self-serve, i also tried their kimbap and i personally like my kimbap with not that much veggies because it has this certain veggy smell when in kimbap so this place is simply made for me. And for $2 a roll not bad, they slice the roll into 10 pieces. One roll and a froyo filled me up. Ohh YEA! if you want to know the froyo prices its Reg. $3.50 Lar. $4.50 w/ 3 toppings...... =)
