Any recommendations for a small wedding reception in North Jersey?

We want a pretty simple reception, 20-25 people, but in an elegant restaurant with a private room and preferably a small dance floor. We're looking to spend about $70/pp, with or without liquor. Does anyone know of a place in either Morris, Warren, Essex, Bergen, or Passaic County? Thanks in advance for any & all replies!!!

This place recently took over the old "Restaurant" space in Hackensack. Absolutely beautiful and the food is wonderful.

      Hi
My fiance and I we are looking for a small outdoor place for our wedding, some garden, some house...somewhere... just for like 50 people.
But no expensive, we are looking a really low budget.

      Thanks

Dinallo's in River Edge or Solari's in Hackensack if you are leaning towards Italian. Madeleine's Petit Paris in Northvale may be able to accommodate you as well.

They have a great private room and the food is fantastic.

They are closing in January, sadly.

Edit: From Friday's review of Levant Grille in the Bergen Record (asterisks are my addition):

"Simply grilled whole fish here is very popular, and those disappointed by the *impending closure (and eventual relocation) of nearby Nisi Estiatorio* should consider Levant as an alternative."

so it sounds as though they're planning to reopen in another location. let's hope it actually happens...
