Hi,
We would like to meet some traveling friends for brunch at a place somewhere between San Francisco and San Jose. Does anyone know of a place with ample parking that would fit an RV? Food type is not so important, they are travelers, but would like a place that is not too expensive (like Campton Place).
Thanks!

There must be hundreds of place that fit your criteria. Not so much the City. For example, we often go to ABC Seafood in Foster City. They have a large parking lot that would take an RV, so long if you don't go on the weekend.

Or you could just meet your friends in the parking lot of a Target or other big box store on the Peninsula, they could leave their RV in the parking lot there, and you could drive them to/from brunch. That would widen your search.

I got one.

Brunch at The Duck Club at the Stanford Park Hotel (near downtown palo alto). That hotel usually has good parking, the food is good, and the hotel backs on the abandoned car lot where Tesla is, you could roll *dozens* of semi trailers into that lot without anyone caring - you can scope it out on Google Maps, just turn on the satellite view.

I'm actually not certain they have a sunday brunch, but they should, and they have great parking.

You can get there from 101 or 280, it's about equidistant.

You could also have them park there and walk the 5 minutes to downtown PA (walk down alma about 4 blocks), and have your pick of what's down there. I'm not a huge brunch guy, so can't say what's right.

Another shot would be to call the new hotel at 280 & Sand Hill - the early reports of Madrone aren't bad, and they're in the middle of lots of VC offices that should give great parking. The hotel will know.

If you want to go SF, I suggest Serpentine on 3rd St in San Francisco. I lived a block away for 7 years, and all the street parking around there is empty on a sunday (ball season's over). That area is known for the "vehicularly housed", who roll in on their RVs. Serpentine's brunch is supposed to be pretty rocking. Old skool in the same area is The Ramp, only consider if it's warm and sunny and you like industrial chic - it's kind of in the middle of a shipyard.

Hey thanks! We live in the city, so it would be nice for us not to have to drive. I was also considering Greens but no idea what Fort Mason parking would be like on a Sunday.
I like the industrial part of the 3rd street area. Will let you know how it works out if we go there.
