We are foodies and looking for some authentic regional cooking. Their she-crab soup is mediocre and the last time I was there my salad had so much slimy old lettuce it it that I had to send it back. On the same block is the wonderful 82 Queen. We've never been disappointed there. The menu is more exciting and the atmosphere is nicer, too. For fantastic she-crab and good upscale seafood, try Hank's. I also love Lochlear's on Mount Pleasant. At it's old location it was more of a strictly seafood place but I think they're more of a grill now and their menu is broader. SNOB and hominy Grill are excellent as well. Boathouse IOP has great food and a wonderful view.
