I'm need to buy a special bottle of ouzo for an upcoming party. I didn't find it at total wine or bevmo. I'm hoping that a specialty Greek market may have it. Any ideas? Thanks

If this is for Phoenix and not CO, then Sportsman's on Camelback.

Assuming "PHX" isn't a typo for "DEN", I would guess that the source of the confusion is Chow's new place link generator, which scans the place database for any text matching that in the post and then automatically attaches a link if a match is found.

My current work-around is to click the "MANAGE YOUR LINKS" bar and to check for any erroneous place links before submitting a post.

Random - If you are indeed looking for ouzo in Phoenix, Total Wine at 16th Street and Camelback (NEC) DOES have ouzo. It's in the aisle where the snacks, nuts, chips and chocolate are. There are several different brands to be found.

Very weird. I didn't even see the link to the CO restaurant (I just removed it). Yes, this is for Phoenix. I went by Sportsman's tonight and they only had two bottles of Ouzo. I am looking for Ouzo from Mytilini (Lesbos). This is where my wife's Mom comes from. When we were in Greece a few years ago, we were told by a number of people that the best Ouzo comes from Mytilini and we sampled a number of "brands". The Total Wine up in Desert Ridge didn't have any (although they did have more of a selection than Sportsman's).
