In honour of Big Bird & the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street (today according to Google), what are some of your favourite dishes and recipes from the show.

And especially for Big Bird. What are some of your favourite poultry recipes or dishes?

My favourite chicken dish is Montreal style BBQ chicken a la Chalet BBQ.

How about something different....Gullah fried chicken! Big Bird would love this as long as he was not on the menu!
1 chicken, washed, cut up
2 tbsp. salt and sugar mixture
1/2 cup Gullah Luv seasoning
Milk (enough!)
6 eggs (beaten)
2 cups self rising flour or chicken breader
1 cup peanut oil

Make egg was by beating eggs in bowl. Season chicken well with Gullah Luv seasoning.
Cover and let it sit for 10-15 min.
Heat oil to 350 degrees
Dip each piece in egg wash.
Coat with breader or flour.
**Make sure there is enough oil to cover each piece.
Drop thighs, then legs, then breasts and last the wings in 1 minute intervals.
Set timer for 15 minutes.
Check thigh and breast for doneness by inserting skewer.
When done, drain or drip on paper towel.

This is so good and so easy, even I can make this!
