I always see it.. and I always want to try it.. but wasn't sure if it would be something like KFC or just a wings place (like St. Louis/Duffs) operated by Koreans. Is there anything different about these wings??

I really don't like KFC - I find the batter too heavily spiced. The chicken here can be done two ways - plain and with this sauce. Now, I don't like the sauce, but that's just me. I find it somewhat too herbal. The plain though is just up my alley. Crunchy light batter and really tender chicken inside, (helps that they use dark meat), but really juicy. It is fattier cuts or something, but I really enjoy this preparation a lot.

Ka Chi - best Pork Bone Soup & Seafood pancake. Try Bibbimbap - beef mixed with veggie rice. These dishes are quite spicy by very tasty. Great prices

Owl - Similar to Ka Chi, open 24hours

There is a place across the street from Ka Chi - Cutlet House. - my new favourite. They have this really yummy spicy hot fried chicken. Food here is really good.

Right beside Christie Station - Mul Rae Bang - A. Great Korean food, a bit more pricier. Can sit in booths. Comes with quite a bit of side dishes.

There is also a place by Yonge and Bloor, south of Charles on the same side of Shoppers. If you like spicy Korean food, this place is pretty popular called Home of hot taste. I can't really eat spicy, but all my friends who can love this place. For me, I love their wings. They have really addictive salt and pepper wings.

The location you gave of Mul Rae Bang A is now a Tim Horton's, but I noticed the other day that they have relocated to a second floor location within the first block east of Christie on the north side.

I used to go to Kachi a lot for their pork bone soup but not anymore because I am allergic to the heavy MSG. Sushi Cafe is just within walking distance from Kachi. I love how they served the pork bone soup with the purple rice. They also have quite a selection for sushi ( buy 2 get 1 free). Other than that they have a pretty good appetizer especially the bean sprout!

Yeah, I didn't know they used MSG either. Usually when I eat stuff that has MSG, I am usually really really thirsty afterwards. I usually don't have that problem after eating there. Perhaps they do use a little and my tolerance is somewhat higher..
