6 girls heading out on the town and we're looking for somewhere preferably uptown, north york, 401ish as we're all coming from different areas. We would like to have a great meal and possibly stay after for dancing. Any suggestions? I can't seem to put my finger on it.

Thanks in advance.

You'd have better luck going downtown. Also depends on what kind of dancing - clubbing? Bar? etc..

At any rate, not much in North York along those lines that I can think of...

Downtown:
- The Fifth
- Brant House
- That other asian-like place across from Brant
- Ultra

Food varies. If food is more important than having dancing at the location you're at, then it opens up a lot of possibilities.

Thanks for your suggestions - most folks are coming from Richmond Hill and beyond so downtown is really not a great option. It doesn't have to be a club but just somewhere where we can party after dinner.

There's always Brix, if we're talking North of the city. I just can't think of partying so much in North York. Not the dancing kind, at any rate. The only other place I can think of might be Smokey Joe's? Somewhere around there, they used to do dancing. But it's bar/pub/resto type place, so food's not really exciting.

lol, can't seem to put your finger on it, that's cuz there's like nothing. Yes there's that small cluster up at east beaver creek, but none of it is any good. Napa is at least the younger set of Brix (same owners). Fazooli's is brutal. If you don't wanna go all the way downtown, maybe stop at Yonge and Eg, and go somewhere like 6 Degrees.
