As well as La Paella

Jfood likes Barcelona (STM and SONO) and if you go also try the grilled meat platters

Chorizo with Sweet and Sour Figs Balsamic-Sherry Glaze
Crispy Calamari Smoked Tomato Aioli
Gambas al Ajillo Sautéed Shrimp with Garlic and Sherry
Chicken Milanese Arugula Salad, Lemon
Grilled Steak Paillard Tomatoes, Onions, Thyme, Crispy Potatoes
Mussels al Diablo Sautéed with Spicy Tomato Sauce
Homemade Empanadas Spiced Beef, Smoky Pepper Purée

The grilled meat platter consists of NY Strip Steak, Grilled Half Chicken, Gaucho Sausage, Pork loin, Papas Fritas & Chimichurri

Stamford has a private room if you have 20+ and SONO has a great room in the back where they can set something up for you.

jfood, have you tried the paella at Barcelona? I've heard good things about Meigas' paella, I haven't heard (or tried) it from Barcelona. Wondering if they do it as well as they do tapas...

jfood likes the paella at Barcelona but the Tapas are better. The flavors in many of the Tapas just sing on your tongue while the Paella is very good, the flavors in the Tapas (especially the mushrooms and paillard) are second to none.

You forgot the pork and watermelon tapa! I think they only have it in Stamford, because when I went to the Barcelona in Greenwich I noticed the menu was slightly different.

The one in Stamford has this carnitas tapa that has shaved watermelon. cilantro and a vinegary dressing. It's really tasty and one of my favorites. I also like the patatas bravas, but I'm into fried potatoes of any sort anyway.

Rule in life is do not eat with anyone who does not like fried potatoes.

Jfood found the STM location has more zing that the SONO location, especially the calamari.
