lunch near Beale & Mission?

  • 6

I have a meeting downtown tomorrow. Where's a good place for lunch?

  1. How close, what atmosphere, what price? A place for a lunch meeting, or a place for lunch before or after?

    1. RN74 is right there, enter on Mission between Beale and Fremont. Kind of pricey, though.

      1. Town Hall or Chez Papa

Yes, Town Hall would be great, as well. There's also The Salt House and Anchor and Hope, owned by the same guys as Town Hall.

        2. Cafe Algiers is a budget option in the neighborhood. Good coffee, cheap sandwiches of both American and Mediterranean varieties, and pretty tasty for $5-10. There's no place to sit though, so it's only appropriate if you're on your own and looking to eat on the run (or sit in a public space).

          1. RN74 is a good choice, in fact I've just posted some pictures of it in my latest blog entry. Town Hall is right around the corner. A bit farther east on Mission is Boulevard. These are all places favored by those dining with expense accounts.
