Can you guys reccomend a place for rehearsal dinner? Maggiano has a 1200 minimum and it comes out more than 40 a peron.Maggiano is not worth 40 a person I'm looking for a place with a private room for 30 people. I'm willing to spend 30 a person for a appetizer and entree. I'm open to the type of food. Thanks chows

if you are willing to go to tustin, the marmalade cafe there has a GREAT private dining room. the service and food a really good and they could definitely do $30 pp. I have used the room before and it's nice has it's own entrance and its brand new.

I would suggest you call The Golden Truffle (Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa by 17th Street)
Ask them if you can get the dining room on the right for a private dinner and ask them what delicious food they could provide for $30 per person. The owner/chef often will consider special menu dinners for large groups. It is a rather casual atmosphere, but is very high quality. Some people bypass it because of the location. It is a hidden gem.

The are only open at night on a few days, so work with them on that, too. See more at their website. http://www.goldentruffle.com/
