Does anyone know where you can get Tasso Ham and Boudin Sausage? I have been looking all over the Chicagoland area can not find either.
If you're interested investing in a larger quantity, Chicago Game & Gourmet (a restaurant wholesaler that also vends directly to the public) has both, including four varieties of boudin.
Check the "Charcuterie" section of their website:
Paulina Meat Market definitely has Tasso (quite good). I am fairly sure the have Boudin, but have not purchased myself so phone first.
On the retail level:
Fox & Obel carried both when I worked there a few years back.
I had a Boudin Sausage at the Publican yesterday. Very tasty. They also had several kinds of ham but can't remember what kind. You may want to check oyit the restaurant. I had an beyond excellent meal
