I've lived in the annex for years and have heard about how fabulous this place was. I hate to say it but it was truly the worst falafel I've had (and having lived in the mid east for a few years, I know my falafel!) . The falafel was so dry, toppings were limited (lettuce and tomato) and I'm not sure what the sauce was that they put on (it certainly wasn't tahina or humus) but is was flavourless and goopy. I asked for hot sauce which they put on but I couldn't even taste any heat. The one saving grace was the tabouli, it truly was delicious.
