It was recommended by the guard at the Planetarium (my dad taught me that museum guards are always a good bet when looking for restaurant recommendations). It was the first authentically French restaurant I had ever been to and the first time I had tasted frog's legs. I'll be back in Montreal for the first time in decades and I was wondering: Does anybody remember it? it still exist? Is it any good? thanks! It may well be the restaurant in the Gay Village. I remember that it was a small place in an older neighborhood with checkered tablecloths and lots of cooking medals on the wall--an old-fashioned Cuisine Bourgeoise kind of place. It was right next to the original Maison Cousin on a little street one block east of Berri below Ste Catherine.It was very much like Le Paris as far as menu and very competent for the time.I have not been there in at least 35 years so I can not give you any recent news.
