Need a restaurant to host a dinner for 30-50 (SD)

Any suggestions. Looking for something formal (coat and tie dinner) that can host 30-50 people and will have "speeches" through out it. Any good idea's of a restaurant in the SD area which would be suitable?

    1. Rainwaters offers a private room on their ground floor that can handle your crowd very comfortably, You can do a large horse shoe shape or a hollow square in the room.

        1. I think Mr. A's has a room for this.

I have used the room that overlooks the park for such an event, it however only offers draping and not complete privacy, but it is one hell of a location with great views from the room and the terrace.

Could be a good place for corporate espionage.

                2. L'Auberge Del Mar has several "meeting rooms" outside of the restaurant which would meet your size criteria and you would get good food from Kitchen 1540

My company also recently rented out Winesellar& Brassieie for a similar event which was quite nice.

                      • You could call Cavaillon and see what it takes to rent out the restaurant for 1 day.

                        1. Addison has a large private room that will easily hold 30-50 people. Coats and ties will fit in well. They also have A/V equipment for slides, microphones, etc.

El Bizcocho also has a similar room set up for meetings. However, I haven't been since the last chef left (the one from NY).

                          1. Crab Catcher in La Jolla has 2 rooms in the back with fireplace that opens to a back patio and they have a garage with elevator that would accommodate 30-50 people.

                            1. The US Grant Hotel could handle this, and food would be tied to Grant Grill.
