I've never spent the Christmas holiday in the city prior to this year, so I'm pretty clueless about what places are open. Here are a couple of points to help guide your suggestions: - We're adventurous diners who enjoy the best of Brooklyn's new restaurant scene. Some favorites include: DuMont, Diner, Frankie's Spuntino, Motorino, etc. - They will be staying in lower Manhattan, but I live in Williamsburg, so any places in North Brooklyn, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, etc. will work. I'd also love some Manhattan suggestions, but I thought I'd start with Brooklyn since that is where we tend to dine the most. Thanks everyone! It's a pretty formal meal (small, intricate courses) as opposed to a rustic 7 Fishes meal, as you'd expect from Saul. Saul is excellent with fish, so its a great menu.
