It had been many years since I dined there, and am glad we decided to break our routine of trying new spots and heading back to a classic. We were blown away by the service and cuisine. We did a la carte menu which was excellent. I will post review soon, but in the interim, the escargot was the best I have ever had. I never thought there was a big difference in escargot (except for the sauce) but this was superior. We truly felt like it was a special occasion. While we always say Vetri is our number 1 in Philly, Le Bec is now tied. Totally different atmosphere (formal and elegant dining room vs. rustic feel) with totally different food, but still these 2 are superior to the rest.
