Good grocery store or butcher for duck?

Looking to buy 3 ducks for Thanksgiving. And recommendations on markets, grocers or butchers? Would prefer them to be locally sourced ducks.

Depending on where you live and what's convenient for you, Simchik's butcher shop (east 50s and 1st) has Long Island ducks. I believe they're locally, organically raised. You should ask though.

Dickson's Farmstand Meats in Chelsea market had ducks the last time I went, you should probably talk to them and reserve. http://dicksonsfarmstand.com/

I usually buy mine from Quattro Farms at the Saturday USQ Farmer's Market.

i don't know about locally-sourced, but I usually buy fresh ducks in Chinatown (at the meat market near Canal on Mulberry but they all carry them). Some come with heads and feet so if you are averse to that check for the beheaded (and befooted?) ones. The Bell and Evans ones sold at Whole Foods are excellent as well but considerably more $$.
