Japanese Tobiko Salad Recipe - help!!
I've made this salad a bunch of times and have had it at random Japanese restaurants, but I was trying to look online to see what 'twists' people have put in it, and couldn't seem to find a recipe on it.
It's essentially: cucumbers, crab, tobiko (roe) mixed together with some kewpie mayonnaise.
I was wondering if anyone here has made it before, and what they've done to it.
At my favourite restaurant, they put in slivers of octopus to give it a different texture, and it also tastes a bit different, although I can't figure out what!

Add some hijiki and a little slivered shiso to give it a kick. I try to put shiso in all Japanese salads.
