Any recs for a bar to watch next Sunday nights game either in the West Hollywood area or Silver Lake area? (or some other place not too far from WeHo/Sunset)

BF is a Cowboys fan and I'm an Eagles fan so we'll probably get a little loud! :) We both love dive bars and are hoping for someplace that does serve decent enough appetizer food and a good beer selection. We are both in our 30's so we'd prefer a place that is not too fratty.

Key thing is that we be able to watch the game.

Thanks in advance!

Big Wangs is as fratty as you can get so beware. Last time I was there (after the Farmer's Market for an afternoon Cowboys game - go Cowboys), the place smelled like stale beer and cigarettes but the wings were good. Check out Capitol City, an "upscale" sports bar just around the corner. Only been there once but very clean and very posh. I also like Happy Ending on Sunset across from In and Out.

Fratty is right. There really is something magical happening around the Hollywood Big Wang's. I walk by there all the time, and in the past couple of years the area immediately around Wang's has acquired a smell I've only smelled previously on Bourbon Street in N.O., a sour-beer-vomit-urine bouqet, that's the most unappetizing smell in town. I miss the simplicity of the neighborhood's original, mostly-urine smell.

ESPN Zone or maybe a Yard House. Both downtown, but if you are not particular about bar food and are OK with the standard fare, both these places have great screens (my main priority).
