HELP! 2 nights in Montreal with 3 restaurant choices
I know these questions are asked over and over again, but my husband and I are going to Montreal this weekend and we've narrowed our dinner choices (based on recommendations and reviews) to three - but we only have two nights! A few notes - taste is more important to us than presentation, we don't care about a "scene," and a good wine list is a must (preferably French and/or Canadian). So, if you had to choose...

Personally I like Mas Cuisine which has yet to be really "discovered" except by those in the know. Small, excellent service and great food. It is a wee bit off the beaten path in Verdun.

If you not after a feast for the eyes, more a feast for the mouth, definitely scratch Europea off your list. It's one hell of a culinary experience that's for sure, but by no means are we talking "delicious" food here. I've had some pretty mad dishes there. Expect anything from a lobster bisque cappuccino to a verrine of caesar salad "foam", topped off with a miniscule piece of bacon. For sure it is food like you've never tried before... but it doesn't sound like it's that kind of experience is what you're after.
Check the menu for Au 5e Péché before you go. I've always been interested in going. It looks like a nice, little restaurant, but every time I check the menu there seems to be offal on the menu in great abundance, which has always been a big turn off for me.
