Not sure if this is too casual, but the Lebanese place in the AMC food court (Yonge/Dundas) is actually really good. Harlem also isn't too far (Richmond St. East), but I'm not sure how fast the service is.

Second Harlem. It's about a 5-10 minute walk away, good food, friendly service, and a unique atmosphere.

Osteria is our go to place before Massey or the Winter Garden/Elgin. The service can sometimes come off a bit ditzy but if you tell them you have tickets for a show they seem to be able to handle it fine, so far they have never failed to deliver a fine meal in time, provided you give them a reasonable amount of time, don't expect to get in and out in 45 minutes.
