Had a hankering for german food so decided to try a place in Mesa called the Bavarian Point.
We live in Gold Canyon so it's the closest we could find. Without going into detail all I can say is that it was bad.
Other than Haus Murphy, which to us is a day trip, where can we find good German Food?

I just had lunch at the Black Forest Mill and enjoyed my sausage and red cabbage. I'm no German food expert so I can't tell whether it's worth the drive for you, but it's not as far as Haus Murphy at least. It's next door to the German Sausage Company, which I like. Apparently there's live music and dancing on weekend evenings, too.
