Picholine Cheese and Wine Bar
I ate in the cheese and wine bar a few times while in New York and I have never been disappointed. The bartender-waiter Eric is always courteous and knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. I usually have a couple of appetizers and, of course, the cheese plate at the end. I started going there because I took advantage of the 50$ gift card that they issued via their website last year.
I do not know if it still on their menu but I had their white gazpacho this summer and it was one of the best soups ever! I even went back a second time on that particular trip. You won't go wrong with that restaurant.
