Going to the fair in a few weeks and am wondering if there is any cuisine that you would recommend.

The turkey legs! They are huge and taste really good! There are quite a few different areas in the festival -- based on countries (England, Spain, Germany, Poland, etc.) and they all have their own concessions area. They serve "the basics" at each as well as more themed dishes. If you like any of those kinds of food, get a program at the entrance and make your way to the different areas.

Polonia is the only Polish restaurant in Houston, and they do have a booth at the fair. Been a while since I've gone to RenFest though so I have no clue what they'd be serving.

I haven't gone in years, but I always loved the apple dumplings.
