My husband & I have tickets for the Blue Man group at 3133 N. Halsted on Nov. 12. We'd like to have dinner nearby beforehand - maybe a 6 or 7 block walk around the theatre. Any suggestions for really good, casual clothes, dining in the vicinity?

There is a new Mexican, tapas-style, BYO at Broadway and Wellington called Chilam Balam. It was excellent.

In the neighborhood, I also like Wakamono for Sushi or Twist for Spanish tapas. I haven't been in a long time, but I remember really liking Socca for Italian.

There are many restaurants in the vicinity, within a 15-minute walk . . . particularly so on Clark St. N. of Belmont, on Belmont W. of Clark St, and one on Halsted St., a block away from the theater, which has for many years been successful and well-patronized: Yoshi's Cafe.

I would second the suggestion for Yoshi's.
Otherwise, perhaps the Francesca on Broadway, just south of Addison, though it's likely to be packed, depending on when you get there.

Try Home Bistro on Halstead, a BYOB place with inventive, hearty food. I also love Yoshis and Wakamono. Erwin is another place just south of the theater on Halstead to try.
