hi fellow chowhounders....I am going on a trip to paris in December and would love a few must-eat at restaurants for steak frites, souffle, crepes, croissants and desserts, falafel, etc. I currently live in NYC so know that prices can range for a great meal.

we are staying in the montparnase and st germain area.

any reccos and or price ranges would be awesome. thank you!

Table 28 was 29 euros per person, with a very reasonable wine list and Frenchie was 33 or 34 euros per person, again with a reasonable wine list.
