I don't really know, but I was in there around a month ago and there was a LOT less on the shelves, and they'd made the shop area smaller. It didn't look good. Then last Friday I happened to be passing by and saw that Saturday was going to be their last day. Does anyone know what the old owner, Brian, is doing now?

Their web site (www.coteandco.com) confirms that October 24 was the last day for the store. And at the bottom of the website they said stay tuned for new projects. I can only speculate that they are going to all catering and trying to cut costs by getting rid of the retail space.

I've been going there for years and feel terrible for the young couple who took over. They apparently were mislead combined with the down economy, it became more than they could handle. I must give them credit for their efforts in trying to save the business. They even had a buyer but again were let down by their landlord. Perhaps they did them a favor. It's a shame after 15 plus years to see it go & wish them the best in their future endeavors.
