Hello Pittsburgh!

I'm getting married next fall in Pittsburgh, and I am looking for recommendations on caterers in the city. My fiancee and I are planning to have a casual, fun wedding. My site's preferred vendors include

M-Catering
All in Good Taste
Yes, We Cater
Big Burrito
Gina Marie's
Elegant Accent
Coca Cafe Catering
Catering by Linda Ianotta
La Creme

Big Burrito looks particularly appealing, especially their "stations" option. Does anyone have experience with this or the other vendors?

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals!

I'm getting married this January in Pittsburgh. We're using Coca Cafe for our rehearsal dinner and flying biscotti catering (http://flyingbiscotticatering.com/, based out of Enrico's Cafe in the Strip district) for the big day. We have high hopes for the latter as I've enjoyed their chef's cooking on several other occasions, although they are definitely a smaller operation than Big Burrito and don't know if they do anything comparable to the stations option.

Fun and casual are definitely two things we're hoping for our event as well. We've been working pretty closely with the flying biscotti chef to create a menu that's really simple, rustic, and warm and homey for our winter wedding with touches like loaves of freshly baked bread on each table.

If you're interested, I can give you more detailed reviews after the wedding.

I can second All in Good Taste. I've been to a few event they have catered and they are top notch. Big Burrito has sounds interesting.

Will you be tasting/testing any of the places mentioned? If so, please keep us updated.

I have been to I think 3 weddings with Yes we Cater and they have done a fantastic job and my friends have all really enjoyed working with them (all 3 weddings were station style). I have been to a few events with big burrito and they have been great as well.

Catering by Linda Ionotti and All in Good Taste are certainly at the higher end of the spectrum, however, they are both fantastic, I have been to events that both have catered.

Thanks for all of your recommendations so far. Hungrycanuck--that Flying Biscotti Catering peaks my interest. And yes, we'll be sampling different caterers, so I will keep this post updated. More soon...
