Does anyone know the average percentage of meat to bone in each of the typical chicken parts? Thigh, drumstick, breast, wing & back? Thanks!
i don't know at all, but here are my guesses...
part: percentage meat
thigh: 60%drumstick: 50%breast: 70%wing: 40%back: not sure...depends on how it is boned?
Maybe someone else will have more reliable info. These are just guesses.
