I wouldn't make a special trip, but it's still a good thing to have in the area - and they were really among the first to take the gamble! Perhaps a bit more of a destination is Saraghina, just down the road...

My first trip to Peaches was this past July and the experience was worlds different from that post. While nothing on the menu is going to knock your socks off, the food was good. They have a liquor license now and serve tasty cocktails. I remember having a rum punch that was quite refreshing for the hot day. I'd say Peaches is a good choice if you live in the nabe or are just passing through. Never been to their brunch but I've heard good things.

I was there for a party not too ago, and loved it. Totally made me want to go back for dinner, and order something involving grits - deeeelicious. Impressive house-infusing of liquors going on at the bar...

I agree that it is not a destination, but a great neighbourhood addition. Nice crowd too. The BBQ, pulled pork etc is fine but not amazing.
