Ran across some at Southside815, additive and different treats.
Who else offers these in the metro area?

rustico in alexandria has fried pickle spears on their bar menu. they're excellent. i last had them a few months back so am unsure as to whether they're seasonal or anything.

Rocket to Venus in the Hampden neighborhood, Baltimore--right near Miracle on 34th Street's massive blocklong Christmas light display (at least starting tomorrow)

Hamilton Tavern has them! I had them Friday night with a side of bleu cheese sauce - very very good

Del Merei Grill in Arlandria has them. They are MUCH better than Southside 815.

I second Steve's opinion that the frickles at Del Merei Grill are much better than Southside 815

"Frickles" at The Bungalow in Chantilly are really good.

I missed that they added them to the menu - I'll have to check it out next time.

They're sliced thin, with a nice crispy coating. Great dipping sauce too. Good bar food!

Had them today at Bungalow. Definitely good, but still behind Del Merei. Since it's rare we get to Del Ray, this is still nice to find. Just finished up the leftovers.

Btw - still have to say the best wings are Bungalow (in the traditional Buffalo sense), and everything we had was good.

Oddest part was the owners (we're assuming) at the table next to us reviewing wines to serve. At Bungalow I don't think of wines beyond a couple of house options. Anyway - thanks Bob - I may have STILL missed the frickles had you not posted.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a place I hate worse than Silver Spring Mining Company. I've been a few times for work things, including once when I had the fried pickles, and it's just atrocious on every level. I don't think I've ever been to a place where they cared less about serving good or even edible food.
