Hi there we are a group of 6 Irish ladies travelling to Boston in a couple of weeks for a fun girlie trip and some retail therapy. While we're there my sister is celebrating a very significant birthday and we'd love to organise a big night for her with dinner and drinks. We'd love somewhere we could get really dressed up and glam but still has a fun relaxed atmosphere, have seen some good reports on Prezza or Scampo, are these any good? Also any other suggestions on other places to eat and drink while we are there are all very welcome,

Oh we're staying in the back bay area but don't neccessarily have to stay around there!!

Thank you so much for your help!

Both are good. Scampo is in the LIberty Hotel which is also a fun place for drinks/going out after dinner.

Sorellina is a high end option that might work for you.

Also consider Cuchi Cuchi in Cambridge - great girlie cocktails and festive atmosphere with good to great tapas dishes (glam would be appreciated more here than at other Boston spots).

Eastern Standard is also a lively spot with great drinks and food at decent prices.

Mare in the North End. Italian seafood--excellent food and service. One block off Hanover Street near Mama Maria's.
