Will be in Chicago in two weeks for 3 nights (th, fri, sat) with a friend. Looking for one special night out, around $100-120pp. Two nights for more moderately priced but memorable dinners. Cuisine not important. We both love to eat and go out a lot in NYC. We don't need authentic Chicago food, just want three nice evenings with good food. We'll be staying at downtown Hilton, but willing to travel reasonable distances by cab. Many thanks for any suggestions.

I'll just suggest three places that I love. Cafe Iberico, Spoon Thai, and Sun Wah Bar-B-Q at the Argyle stop on the red line. These are way under your price point, but great. Get the octopus at Iberico, the Squash blossom at Spoon, and the $30 Beijing Duck at Sun Wah.

You'll have to talk to someone else about the expensive places.
