        <content>Hi all,

Coming back to NYC to visit some friends from 12/30 through 1/02. Already scored reserves at Per Se (The last on my Keller list - aside from the as-yet-to-open Bouchon LA) and am thinking of doing Daniel or Corton (Ko if I can score a reserve) on 01/01 - that leaves NYE. Realizing the big cities tend to vastly overinflate prices for New Years (Per Se is $650 early seating, $750 late) and having had a pretty sub-par meal at Chicago's MoTo last year on 12/31 for nearly twice the normal price I figured I'd ask the experts.

Knowing that the menu will be inflated, where have you had a good or great New Years experience in New York? Ideally I'd like great food and great service on par with the places listed above, but spending $500 for a meal I could get any other day for $250 isn't ideal.

Thanks!</content>
