I'm looking for a pub environment, but if there's a sandwich stop (ie. fast food) type thing, that would be good too.

Also looking for west of Yonge area... but if you know of places that you utterly believe in, let me know too.

The last BEST GVS we've had was, if you could believe it, in Oshawa, at the Thirsty Monk.

Thanks so much!

They also have an avocado tomato feta wrap that is quite nice. Good sandwiches but just be mindful that there are often long line ups. The lines move fast though.

166 McCaul Street, north of Dundas.

Not in your vicinity and not a pub, but I recently had the vegetarian sandwich at Loic on Queen East, just east of Broadview. It was delicious. It had grilled veg, apples, pine nuts, brie all on a perfect baquette. It was really good.

Not sure how much this helps, but any Loblaws that has all the prepared foods at the front, and I think most of them have been renovated by now, has a section of premade sandwiches. The grilled veggie sandwich is actually really great. Lots of veg, a thick slice of mozzarella, and a great olive spread. I think I'll have one tomorrow.
