Thanksgiving TakeOut

Any suggestions on where to get a traditional t-day dinner to go -- I'm talking enough to feed a family of 6?

Last year we did Nellio's (Lexington) and it was OK. Year before was Roche Bros, same deal.

We're north of Boston but Reading-ish to Waltham-ish suggestions are aok.

TIA,

Sara

Wow, what a great web site! They don't have Lineage listed for takeout.

Just slightly outside your geographical range, Baker's Best in Newton has decent offerings.

I've had good luck with WF T'day dinners. I do a combination of food from them and from Roche Bros. I particularly like WF gravy. Check with some restaurants that you like. For instance, Lineage in Brookline is offering T-day dinner to go for 4. It looks scrumptious, if a little pricey. Or you could do what I have goin' for me - one of my friends cooks and brings the turkey! I buy / make everything else.

Where did you find Lineage's take out menu for Thanksgiving? I just looked at their site and couldn't find it? Thanks

They have signage (can't help myself!) on the windows.

Go to WF and ask for a taste of their menu offerings. I find they can pepper things to death and use little of other seasonings. Closer to T'day, they'll have tastings of various dishes but they should be able to give you a taste at the prepared foods counter.

Myself, I'm trying to talk the family into going to Chinatown.

Check ahead to see what is opened. T'day is traditionally the day the staff heads to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun!
