Thanksgiving TakeOut
Any suggestions on where to get a traditional t-day dinner to go -- I'm talking enough to feed a family of 6?
Last year we did Nellio's (Lexington) and it was OK. Year before was Roche Bros, same deal.
We're north of Boston but Reading-ish to Waltham-ish suggestions are aok.
TIA,
Sara

I've had good luck with WF T'day dinners. I do a combination of food from them and from Roche Bros. I particularly like WF gravy. Check with some restaurants that you like. For instance, Lineage in Brookline is offering T-day dinner to go for 4. It looks scrumptious, if a little pricey. Or you could do what I have goin' for me - one of my friends cooks and brings the turkey! I buy / make everything else.

Go to WF and ask for a taste of their menu offerings. I find they can pepper things to death and use little of other seasonings. Closer to T'day, they'll have tastings of various dishes but they should be able to give you a taste at the prepared foods counter.
Myself, I'm trying to talk the family into going to Chinatown.
