Hey, I am wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of Black Beluga Lentils in Montreal?
I haven't looked much, but was hoping to avoid a little bit of legwork.

I am also going to check Les Douceurs at Atwater. The last time I found them it was in a luxury food store...

The only place I've seen them is canned, at Super C on St-Jacques. I confess I was expecting a much darker lentils, based on the label. These were indeed tiny lentils, but tan coloured.

You can buy then at stores that sell organic products, like Ecollegey in NDG or the health food store on Monkland. The company Nature's Path has them in plastic resealable bags, like their other grains. THhy are tiny, like Lentils de Puy, and completely black. They're a pantry staple for me!

Yeah, I have never seen them canned.
Snowpea - they are very black when dry, but after soaking they lose some of their colour and turn brown - which explains their colour out of the can. The water I soaked them in turned a lovely, inky colour.

I've checked out a couple organic stores and haven't found them yet. Maybe I'll make the St. Henri to NDG trip soon.
