ISO Hood's Dairy Pumpkin Eggnog in Arlington or NoVa

Please let me know when this fabulous item shows up in your grocery's milk case. Thanks!

I intend to request it (again) at Harris Teeter on Harrison Street. They never did get it last year, though -- although they had the "gingerbread" flavor (which didn't interest me).

safeway has it -- and on sale ($2.99!) through tuesday. (i found it at the mclean location (on old dominion, but haven't checked cherrydale or harrison street.) harris teeter on harrison still doesn't have it -- as of 11/15.

My local Safeway (Willston) has it, but it's hiding in plain sight. It's not with the Safeway egg nog in the section with all the other milks and milkoids in cartons. It's across the aisle next to the Pillsbury refrigerated-in-a-tube biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

Oh, and the sale price extends until mid December, so there's no hurry. You can have it after Thanksgiving, cheap.

funnily enough, the harris teeter regular price is safeway's "sale" price.

I'm pretty sure I saw it at the Harris Teeter in Falls Church (Lake Barcroft area) this past week. You might give them a call to check. (703) 256-6615

Don't know about Hoods but Organic Valley's Egg Nog is very good -- I've seen it at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and I have a bottle of Homestead Creamery's Egg Nog I bought yesterday at WF -- on par with the Organic Valley I've consumed in years past. Both feature cane sugar not HFCS.

thanks, but i'm looking for pumpkin eggnog. mr. alka will appreciate your other tips, though, as he drinks it in his coffee.

Hmmm, what about getting a nice regular egg noc and sprinkling a good quality "pumpkin spice" mixture into the serving?

I saw it - at the Bloom on McLaren St. in Herndon/Oak Hill. That sounds pretty far for you if you were looking in Arlington, but maybe you can find it at a Bloom closer to you? Good luck!
