Where is the best milkshake in Dallas?

Gotta love a good milkshake. Just had jaw surgery and will be living on liquids for a couple weeks. Figure I can use it as an excuse to try Dallas's best shakes.

Where should I go?

Just wanted to renew the question. I have been craving a good milkshade for awhile now. I have tried HPP and Purple Cow and both are great! Although I love trying new places and always love to hear what other people think or recommend.

Agreed with HPP and Purple Cow. I also like the shakes from Twisted Root and Keller's (the drive in). And I could be skewered for this, but nothing wrong with Braum's either.

Try The Purple Cow at the northeast corner of Preston and Royal. Not only do they make yummy shakes, but they make adult shakes as well. (Bailey's in a shake is great!)

        Good luck with your recovery.

I don't know shakes in your area but thought I'd share with you my "after dental surgery" favorite recipe:

          1 container yogurt
1 equal part fruit juice of choice
          1 small banana
1 cup frozen fruit (to eliminate pointy ice) but avoid fruits with seeds

          Blend and enjoy.

Chips on Lover's. Made from Blue Bell. Delicious!

The one at the Village Burger Bar is pretty awesome. Just heard there was a new one located in Allen in Watters Creek.

The Village Burger Bar has another new location at Shops at Legacy in Plano, as well. Opened a few days ago, the location was previously The Counter (burger place, as well).

              I recommend Highland Park Pharmacy.

That's funny! I was going to recommend HPP as well.
