My husband and I love a prime steak but ordering a la carte can be so expensive. We appreciate the present unusually competetive restaurant scene. Can you share your favorite meals?

I dined from the prixe fixe at Ruth's Chris in DC this summer. Everything was very good. There were 3 courses, and the menu included steak options, I had the crabcakes, which were lovely mounds of crab. There was more than enough to eat. I thought it was a very good value, and I'd order off the prixe fixe again.

Been to RC's for their price fix and it was pretty good. Also, The Palm has a 9oz. fillet with a whole lobster tail for $45. a screaming deal.

Morton's has had their deal now for a few years...relative to the a la carte, its a great deal...basically, it's like paying for the meat and getting salad/seafood/sides/desert for free.

Also, it is the same food as the a la carte menu...which is not the case with some others like rc or flemings.
