Looking for recommendations for some good posole in Puerto Vallarta. I'm not that familiar with Puerto Vallarta, but would like something near the Malecon, downtown or Romantic Zone.

Any suggestions?

Not from personal experience so I can't say how good it is. But the "best" Mexican restaurant in PV is El Arrayan. On their website http://www.elarrayan.com.mx/estados.php?sm=d&e=2&l= they say they offer a shrimp pozole that others have recommended.

Yes, El Atrayan is highly recommended for her pozole. Ask for Carmen!
I also suggest my local fave, near my place:

Small 15 table basic family spot features pozole combo of pork, chicken and beef 40p, huge and delicious. Also offer tacos 30p, tostadas 16p, chicken enchiladas, pickled pork hocks, fried chicken 45p, meat gorditas 30p, meat sopes and flan. Crowded especially on weekend, so go early before items run out.
